This 90-minute accredited online course will summarize some of the physiological differences between skins of different ethnicities, of which melanin content and composition is but one parameter. Gender-linked differences will also be quickly summarized, to allow the attendees to grasp in deeper detail the ethnic differences such as skin sensitivity and susceptibility to skin disorders. This will be done by analyzing chemical, biochemical and cellular characteristics observed in different ethnicities.
